Our Team

Business Today is completely operated by Princeton University students, but services students from all backgrounds around the world.

Our organization is run by a core team of officers as well as over a hundred other students who contribute to our organization through organizing conferences, managing our endowment, writing articles for our journal, designing our publication, and so much more!

As Princeton’s largest undergraduate business organization, we provide opportunities for the brightest students across all disciplines and interests.


The 2025 Business Today Officer Team

Brian zhou

President

Brian is the President of Business Today. He previously served as a Corporate Contacts Manager and AD of Logistics for the International Conference. Brian is a second-year from North Carolina and studying Electrical Computer Engineering with a minor in Computer Science. Outside of Business Today, he is a Matriculate Advising Fellow and an Orange Key Tour Guide. Brian was drawn to BT by its mission of democratizing life-changing conversations with leaders around the world.

Sophie Ryan

Vice President of Operations

Sophie is a freshman from White Plains, New York who serves as the Vice President of Operations and Co-Assistant Director of Logistics for the 51st International Conference. She is intending to study ORFE with a minor in English. Outside of Business Today, she coaches for the Princeton Figure Skating Club, is a Matriculate Advising Fellow, and a dancer for Triple 8 dance company.

SANDY ZHANG

Vice President of Technology

Sandy is a junior studying Computer Science with a minor in Finance and Robotics and Intelligent Systems. She is the Vice President of Technology for BusinessToday and has previously served as one of the senior staffer for logistics at the 50th IC. Sandy enjoys spending time with friends and family during her free time.

Tess Hubbard

Vice President of Marketing and Design

Tess Hubbard is a current Freshman at Princeton University. She is a prospective English major with a minor in Finance and Visual Arts on the film track. Outside of Business Today, Tess is passionate about film, filmmaking, literature, and music.

Nora Choi

Vice President of Content

Nora Choi (she/her), Princeton University Class of 2028, is from San Francisco, California and is a prospective independent major in Behavioral Economics, pursuing certificates in Entrepreneurship and Optimization & Quantitative Decision Making. She is currently serving as the Vice President of Content for Business Today and was a member of the Logistics Team for the 50th International Conference. On campus, Nora is also the Co-Director of Marketing and Communications for Princeton Women in Business; a MEND Employee; an E-Club Design Team member; and a designer for the Nassau Weekly. In her free time, Nora is passionate about running, biking, and engaging in creative pursuits like fiber arts and metalworking.

Vice President of Finance

Susan is the Vice President of Finance of Business Today. She is a sophomore from New York City studying Economics, with interests in public and international finance. Susan served as a senior staffer of logistics at the 50th International Conference, was a past member of BT's finance team, and is an Assistant Director of Logistics for the Design Nation Conference. Outside of BT, she is involved in Rem and Company, FemaleFounded, and Matriculate. Susan enjoys arts and crafts, cafe hopping, playing the piano, and is learning to play her kalimba.

William Neumann

Vice President of Alumni & Executive Relations

William Neumann ('27) heads the Alumni & Executive Relations Team for Business Today. In this role, William oversees the expansive BT Alumni community and facilitates donor transactions and fundraising throughout the school year. He was previously the head of the Seminars Team, where he arranged several seminars with CEOs, entrepreneurs, economists, and other business leaders. He plans to major in Economics with a potential minor in Finance or History. William, a native Alabamian, also enjoys politics, playing tennis, and listening to music.

chloe zhu

Director of Corporate Contacts

Originally from San Francisco, CA, Chloe is the Director of Corporate Contacts. She previously served as Assistant Director of Content for the 50th International Conference and as Corporate Contacts Manager for the Midwest. Chloe is a sophomore studying Economics. Outside of BT, Chloe is a part of The Daily Princetonian and L’Avant-Scène, Princeton’s French theatre troupe. In her free time, she enjoys golf, skiing, and escape rooms.

KEHAN CHEN

Vice President of Human Resources

Kehan is the Vice President of Human Resources for Business Today. She was previously a logistics staffer for the 50th International Conference. Coming from Minnesota, Kehan intends to major in Public Policy with a minor in East Asian Studies at Princeton. In her free time she enjoys baking, hanging out with friends, and eating out.

Senior Advisor

Jana is the Senior Advisor of Business Today. She was previously the Director of Finance and Director of Student Relations of the 49th International Conference. Jana is a junior from Charlotte, North Carolina studying Economics with a minor in Neuroscience. Outside of BT, she is on the Princeton University Figure Skating Team and the Co-Director of 2024 FemaleFounded Conference. Additionally, Jana loves taking daily walks around campus and trying new foods!

Miyu Yamane

Senior Advisor

Miyu Yamane is a sophomore studying Mechanical Engineering with minors in Computer Science and Robotics and Intelligent Systems. Outside of Business Today, she is involved in Princeton Racing Electric, Sinfonia, and the Robotics Club. She is very excited to work with the team as a senior advisor this year!

Hailey Hubbard

Director of Design Nation Conference

Hailey Hubbard is a junior at Princeton majoring in History and pursuing minors in Finance and Architecture & Engineering. She has previously served as the AD of Design for the 49th International Conference, and is now spearheading the revitalization of Design Nation in 2025. She is passionate about exploring the intersection of business and design in her academics, extracurriculars, and professional life. In her free time she likes to go on runs, be in the pottery studio, and spend time with her friends.

Aakansh Yerpude

Director of the International Conference

Aakansh is a second-year student at Princeton studying Economics, Global Health, and Finance. Coming from Johns Creek, Georgia, he loves to cook with his mom, read memoirs, and play with his dog, Sparky, that he unofficially stole from his best friend. Business Today has been a defining organization for him at Princeton, and he's excited to carry on that impact as Director of the International Conference. Outside of Business Today, Aakansh is a Peer Health Adviser and a strategist at Rem and Company.

Ziya Merchant

Director of Seminars

Ziya Merchant is a freshman from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She is the Director of the Seminars team and previously served as an Executive Relations Staffer for the 50th IC. She plans to major in either Public Policy and International Affairs or Economics with minors in Environmental Studies, Finance, and French. On campus, she is a part of the Princeton Debate Panel and the Tiger Sustainable Investment Group. In her free time she can be found spending time outdoors, cooking, and playing ping pong!
